Community Awareness Program : 25th October 2025 Venue: PHC Daddumajra
​A Community Awareness and Counselling Program on breast cancer was successfully organized at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Daddumajra on 25th October 2025. The initiative was part of the ongoing outreach activities aimed at educating the community about breast health, early detection, and preventive care.The program featured an engaging session of health talks and counselling, led by Prof. Divya Dahiya, Dr. Bhudi Singh (Department of Radiotherapy), and Dr. Veenu (Radiologist). The experts highlighted the importance of breast self-examination, awareness of early symptoms, and timely medical consultation for better treatment outcomes.

In addition to the educational talks, screening mammography was conducted for women from the local community under the supervision of Dr. Satyajit Kundu, Dr. Chandrika, and Dr. Ishita. The screening activity helped identify individuals who may require further evaluation and ENDOCRINE AND BREAST SURGERY FOUNDATION provided hands-on demonstration of the screening process.
​The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from community members and local health workers. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between healthcare providers and the public, emphasizing that early detection remains the cornerstone in the fight against breast cancer.
