EBSCON 2024 was held on 6th and 7th December, 2024, at Hotel Shivalik view, Chandigarh. This was organised by Endocrine and Breast Surgery foundation in collaboration with IAES and ABSI.

This event brought together a diverse group of experts in endocrine surgery, and other healthcare professionals – both national and international- to engage in critical discussions surrounding advances and challenges in endocrine and breast surgery.

As the sessions navigated through diverse opinions and treatment paradigms, the conference culminated in consensus-building. Participants had the opportunity to get an insight into a set of guiding principles aimed at standardizing practices in endocrine and breast surgery.

Attendees expressed appreciation for the collaborative atmosphere fostered throughout the event and newer insights gained. Participants left with new insights, expanded professional networks and a commitment to improving patient care through shared knowledge and consensus-building.

– International experience on the management of micro-papillary carcinoma

– Panel Discussions: Dynamic panel discussions addressed a range of controversial topics, including minimally invasive techniques and management of complex cases

– Minimally invasive approaches for the management of thyroid and breast disorders

– Video session on newer techniques and challenging surgeries

– Workshop on radio-frequency ablation for thyroid nodules, vacuum therapy and core biopsy for breast lesions

 

Also, a large number of students and trainees had the opportunity to present their research work through posters on both days and four best posters were awarded exciting prizes.

It was a resounding success and the conference welcomed 169 delegates, including a diverse group of national and international experts, practitioners, residents and other healthcare professionals.
